Two teams that look poised to head to the postseason. Mariners and Tampa Bay are both trying to chase down first place.

Illinois Fighting Illini at Kansas Jayhawks – Friday, September 8th, 2023

Friday Night lights between two teams that could use some positivity. Both won their first game, but both have fought to be a basketball school for years—the Big Ten against the Big 12.

Nebraska Cornhuskers at Colorado Buffaloes – Saturday, September 9th, 2023

Coach Prime and his Buffaloes are must-watch TV every weekend. The Buffaloes are looking to go 2-0 with this game. Nebraska, shell-shocked with a road loss at Minnesota last week, will look to quiet their rivals in this one. There is no love lost between these two programs.

Ole Miss Rebels at Tulane Green Wave – Saturday, September 9th, 2023

Two Top 25 teams are getting together in New Orleans. Ole Miss
Tulane remembers what happened last season and wants revenge on that. Ole Miss was terrific on the offensive side in Week One.

Can they continue that as they prepare for the SEC season? This should be a fantastic College Football game.

Texas Longhorns at Alabama Crimson Tide – Saturday, September 9th, 2023

The other Top 25 affair. Texas lost by just a single point last season. The Longhorns have talent, but the big-time talent belongs to the home team here.

Can Texas compete on the road at Alabama? This is the final season for the Longhorns before they become a member of the SEC; this will be an excellent warm-up for the future.

Milwaukee Brewers at New York Yankees – Saturday, September 9th, 2023

The Milwaukee Brewers are in first place, but the Chicago Cubs are breathing down their necks. A trip to Yankee Stadium for a three-game series will keep them ready to compete. New York has been a disappointing team this season, but always available to the role of spoiler.

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns – Sunday, September 10th, 2023

The Battle of Ohio. The NFL! Joe Burrow and company against DeShaun Watson and his friends. This is one of our favorite games on the first Sunday of the season.

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Chargers – Sunday, September 10th, 2023

Later in the afternoon, Tua will take on Justin Herbert and the Chargers. Both teams have high hopes of competing for the AFC title. Game One will be interesting to see how well defenses are prepared for the excellent quarterbacks. We are looking for a shoot-out in this game.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants – Sunday, September 10th, 2023

This is the Sunday Night Football Game of the Week. NFC East battle. The Cowboys and the Giants. These two teams always play interesting, fun affairs. This one promises to be no different in prime time.

Two teams looking to move up in the standings will get together for the final game of a three-game series at Wrigley Field. There has not been a team hotter in Major League Baseball than the Chicago Cubs. Arizona is in the mix for the final wildcard spot with several teams.

So, it’s a big game for both teams, as the Cubs are making a run at the divisional title. Can never go wrong with afternoon baseball from the friendly confines.

St. Louis City SC at LA Galaxy – Sunday, September 10th, 2023

Don’t forget MLS action is still in play. St. Louis City SC is leading the Western Conference by six points over Seattle.
