Atlanta Braves at Los Angeles Dodgers – Friday, September 1st, 2023

The top two teams in the National League. The Dodgers are trying to chase down Atlanta for the top seed in the National League. Both teams are looking for 100 wins on the season. Ronald Acuna Jr. against Mookie Betts. Freddie Freeman against his old teammates. This should be a great series, and this game on Friday is the second of four.

Drake Maye and the North Carolina Tar Heels against Spencer Rattler and the South Carolina Gamecocks. Two teams that would love to push the pace and get into the end zone early and often. Which team will bring their defensive hats more often? That will be the winner of this affair on Saturday.

Two teams in the National League Central are still trying to chase down Milwaukee. Also, both teams are right in the mix for a wildcard spot. The Reds have struggled of late but are still in the mix. This is the middle game of the series.

Seattle Storm at Las Vegas Aces – Saturday, September 2nd, 2023

WNBA action on Saturday night. The Seattle Storm are seeing their season end soon, while the Las Vegas Aces want to get back on track. Las Vegas has lost back-to-back games and three out of their last five games. The Aces know now is the time to get back on track. Do not be surprised if the Aces come out swinging and run the Storm out of the building here.

LSU Tigers at Florida State Seminoles – Sunday, September 3rd, 2023

Sunday Night Football, a calm before the NFL storm. Next week, Sunday Night Football will belong to the professionals. This one will feature a pair of talented College teams in the Top 10 of the rankings. The Tigers and Seminoles both have intentions of winning their conference and reaching the College Football playoff. This would be a huge win to start the season for both squads.

Cook Out Southern 300 – Sunday, September 3rd, 2023

The NASCAR season will move to Darlington, South Carolina, for the Cook Out Southern 400. This 367-lap, 501-mile race will be aired on USA Network. Erik Jones came away as the winner last season here, but Chris Buescher won last week at the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Look for a fun race over the holiday weekend!

Gran Premio d’Italia – Sunday September 3rd, 2023

The Formula 1 world has turned to the question: Can anyone stop Max Verstappen? The Autodromo Nazionale Monza will be the next stop for the racers and their chance. The 190-mile race will occur in Italy on Sunday morning in the US.

New York Yankees at Houston Astros – Sunday, September 3rd, 2023

Sunday Night Baseball. The game of the week. The final game of the three-game series. The Astros are in the hunt in the American League West with the Mariners and Rangers. New York, at this point, is just playing a spoiler role. It should be a good one in Houston.
