NFL Divisional Round — January 17–18, 2026

Buffalo Bills at Denver Broncos — 4:30 PM ET (Sat) — Josh “Superman” Allen leads the Buffalo Bills to Mile High to take on Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos. Nix and head coach Sean Payton hope to hit paydirt versus a Bills’ D that was serious issues stopping the rush. But with Superman putting on his cape, things could get dicey for the home fave. Tough call in a game with a 1.5 points spread.

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks — 8:00 PM ET (Sat) — Seattle has risen to -7.5 in some books, which makes the Niners one of the better plays on the board this weekend. Why? San Francisco held Seattle to 13 points in the last matchup, a 13-3 SF loss. Ah, but here’s the asterisk. The best left tackle in pro football, Trent Williams, was on the sidelines for that matchup. With Williams protecting Brock Purdy’s blind side, the Niners have a real shot of taking home the win. Yes, I just wrote that.

Houston Texans at New England Patriots — 1:00 PM ET (Sun) — Here’s another were the home squad chalk could be in some trouble. The Patriots easily handled the Bolts but Houston is a much better team along the offensive line than LAC. Based on that alone, the score versus the Chargers should have been more in favor of the Pats. Houston decimated a quality squad in Pittsburgh on the road. Give the Texans a big shot to pull off the straight up victory.

Los Angeles Rams at Chicago Bears — 4:30 PM ET (Sun) — This should be the game where the Bears’ opportunistic, Chicago leads the league in turnover margin, but can be exposed defense comes to the forefront. Unless the Rams’ D falls apart, which it has done in a couple of games down the stretch, a motivated Matthew Stafford, Puka, Davante, and Kyren should score at will.

College Football National Championship — Monday, January 19

Miami Hurricanes vs Indiana Hoosiers — Indiana is a -7.5 fave. Are the odds justified? Not really. Sure, the Hoosiers blasted Bama and Oregon. Let’s be honest about those wins. Alabama’s Kalen DeBoer made one of the dumbest calls in the history of the CFP when decided to go for it on fourth and 2 on his side of the 50 in a 3-point contest. Not only that but the play was as idiotic as anything you’re going to see in college football. It took forever to develop.

The Hoosiers blasted an Oregon squad that folded under the pressure. Kudos to Dante Moore for knowing he isn’t ready for the NFL. He needs more experience based on his performance versus Indiana in the Ducks’ blowout loss.

Miami has the better offensive and defensive lines and Carson Beck has experience and hasn’t made mistakes down the stretch. I’m calling the Canes’ moneyline upset.

Championship Angle: Experience in the trenches and quarterback decision-making late in the season loom large in this matchup.

Men’s College Basketball — Saturday, January 17

19 Florida at 10 Vanderbilt — A pivotal SEC matchup with tournament implications. Vanderbilt has been dominant at home, while Florida’s depth gives them a chance to control tempo.

1 Arizona at UCF — Arizona puts its No. 1 ranking on the line on the road. UCF will need a strong defensive effort and efficient shooting to challenge the nation’s top team.

4 Michigan at Oregon — Michigan faces a difficult road test against an Oregon squad that thrives on pace and perimeter shooting. This one could come down to late-game execution.

17 Arkansas at 21 Georgia — Two ranked teams collide in a physical SEC battle. Expect toughness, rebounding, and half-court defense to define the matchup.

11 BYU at 15 Texas Tech — BYU’s offensive efficiency meets Texas Tech’s pressure defense in a game that could swing wildly on turnovers and transition scoring.

Friday’s NBA slate features two standout matchups. Cleveland travels to Philadelphia in a clash of Eastern Conference contenders where star power and playoff-style intensity should be on display. NHL Weekend Highlight

Saturday night features a marquee Central Division showdown as Toronto visits Winnipeg in a game loaded with playoff implications and scoring potential. On Sunday, Tampa Bay travels to Dallas in a matchup between two veteran-heavy teams built for postseason success, making special teams and goaltending key factors.

PGA Tour — Sony Open in Hawaii (January 15–18, 2026)

The Sony Open continues this weekend from Hawaii, offering bettors a classic PGA Tour setup that rewards precision iron play and strong putting. With a full field and multiple rounds remaining, opportunities remain across outright, matchup, and live betting markets.

English Premier League

Manchester United vs Manchester City — Saturday, January 17 — One of the sport’s most intense rivalries takes center stage as Manchester United hosts Manchester City. Derby matches often defy form, creating intriguing angles across moneyline, goal totals, and in-play markets.

From NFL playoff football to a National Championship finale, plus college hoops, pro basketball, hockey, golf, and international soccer, this weekend offers bettors one of January’s strongest boards.
