Another great weekend of sports on tap. Just two weeks until Christmas. Let’s take a look at the top sports events for the weekend.

Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

New York Knicks at Boston Celtics

Friday December 9th, 2023
A pair of Eastern Conference rivals, who both made the quarterfinals of the in-season tournament. The Celtics lost at the Pacers, while the Knicks fell to the Bucks. These two teams do not love each other, so it is always interesting when they get together. Look for a fun one on Friday night between two irritated teams.

Wisconsin Badgers at Arizona Wildcats

Saturday December 9th, 2023
College Basketball sees a Top 25 affair Saturday afternoon. This is the time of year College Basketball really starts heating up. Look for a good game between two programs that know how to win games. The Arizona Wildcats are the top ranked team, and unbeaten, but will face a few December tests.

Army Black Knights vs. Navy Midshipmen

Saturday December 9th, 2023
The lone College Football game of the weekend. One of the best games of the season. Both teams need a win to get to 6 wins on the season. A ton of running the football, and not a bunch of defense. Look for a low scoring, defensive game Sunday at the home of the Patriots.

NBA in-season Tournament Championship Game

Saturday December 9th, 2023
The title game from Vegas will take place Saturday night. This game will feature the winner of the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks against the winner of New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers. The winner will be named the first ever NBA in-season tournament champion in history.

Los Angeles FC at Columbus Crew

Saturday December 9th, 2023
The first game of the MLS title. Los Angeles eliminated Houston and Columbus took care of Cincinnati. The final two teams, and there is certainly going to be plenty on the line in cold Columbus.

St. Louis Blues at Chicago Blackhawks

Saturday December 10th, 2023
Two long time rivals get together at the United Center. Connor Bedard in action is always a good one to pay attention to. The Blues beat the Blackhawks the last time they got together, can they do it again on Saturday?

Colorado Buffaloes at Miami Hurricanes

Sunday December 10th, 2023
The best game on Sunday in College Basketball. Colorado is a team that will be looking for a tournament bid come March. For Miami, they are a Top 20 team, with just a lone loss at Kentucky this season. Both teams want to run up and down the floor, so we should see a fun, high scoring game on Sunday.

Los Angeles Kings at New York Rangers

Sunday December 10th, 2023
Los Angeles visits New York. These two giants in the country both have good teams in the NHL. Both the Kings and Rangers look like they could be cup contenders in 2024. The Kings and Rangers also both play solid defense, so look for a slugfest from Madison Square Garden on Sunday!

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers

Sunday December 10th, 2023
A massive NFC West bout. These two teams just played on Thanksgiving Day with the 49ers blowing out the Seahawks. Can Seattle get back at them and stay alive in the divisional and NFC race? It’s not likely, especially the way the 49ers are playing. This is one of several really good NFL games on Sunday!

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

Sunday December 10th, 2023
Sunday Night Football from the Big D. The Eagles have a chance to keep the top spot in the NFC, and pretty much put the Cowboys away from divisional hopes. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles are coming off a tough loss, while Dak Prescott and the Cowboys have been red hot. Many feel this is the best Sunday Night Football matchup of the season.

There you go. Those are the top sports events this weekend. Should be a fun weekend of sports. Enjoy and best of luck!
