The Quest for the Larry O’Brien Trophy Continues

We’re on to the semifinal round of the conference championships. On Saturday, we’ll see Game 3 of the Boston Celtics-Milwaukee Bucks series. They’re knotted at one game apiece as the series moves to Milwaukee. In Saturday’s other game, we’ll see the Memphis Grizzlies head west to face the Golden State Warriors. This series is also tied at one game apiece.

On Sunday, the Phoenix Suns will head to Dallas to take on the Mavericks, and the Miami Heat will leave South Beach to go to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Philadelphia 76ers. We can’t wait for a weekend full of great playoff basketball!

Playoff Previews In Major League Baseball

We have two potential playoff series in Major League Baseball this weekend, and both of them involve National League squads. The favorite to win the NL Central, the Milwaukee Brewers, will travel to Atlanta to face the Braves. The Braves haven’t gotten off to a good start, but the season is young.

Another series to keep an eye on is the clash between the St. Louis Cardinals and the San Francisco Giants. The Giants were the surprise team in baseball last season, and even though they lost some key players, they’ve picked up right where they left off last season. The St. Louis Cardinals will battle the Brewers for the NL Central title all season long. These two teams should be fun to watch this weekend.

The Battle for Lord Stanley’s Cup is Underway!

Hockey fans are thrilled, as the Stanley Cup playoffs have started. We’ll see the best hockey action of the year over the next few weeks as teams will be fighting to win the sport’s biggest prize. The Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Colorado Avalanche, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Calgary Flames are some of the favorites to hoist Lord Stanley’s Cup.

The Next Stop on the PGA Tour Is….

The PGA Tour heads to the TP Potomac at Avenel Farm in Potomac, Maryland for the Wells Fargo Championship. This year’s tournament field will be highlighted by defending champion Rory McIlroy, Abraham Ancer, Tony Finau, Patrick Reed, Tyrell Hatton, Max Homa, and Jason Day. Everyone is starting to gear up for the PGA Championship which will be held in two weeks.

Let’s Go Racing!

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Darlington this weekend for Sunday’s Goodyear 400. Kyle Larson, last year’s winner, Martin Truex, Jr., Denny Hamlin, Chase Elliott, and Kyle Busch are the favorites to take home the checkered flag on Sunday. Larson has a good history at this track, and Elliott is coming off of his first win of the season last weekend.
