This weekend will once again be a very busy weekend in the sports world! With the NFL Divisional Playoff round, pivotal college basketball matchups, NBA action, and a big UFC event, there are plenty of things for the sports fan to watch this weekend. Saturday, January 16th 

NFL Divisional Round – Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers

We’ll see a collision between the Rams powerful defense, and the high octane offense of the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey are two of the top defensive players in the league, and they’ll be responsible for slowing down Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Aaron Jones, and the high-scoring Green Bay Packer offense.

NFL Divisional Round – Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills

The Bills and Josh Allen are playing great football. They will have their hands full with the powerful rushing attack of the Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson and company will try to keep Allen and the Bills offense off of the field.

NFL Divisional Round – Baylor Bears @ Texas Tech Red Raiders

The second-ranked and undefeated Baylor Bears will travel to Lubbock, Texas to take on Chris Beard and his 15th-rated Texas Tech Red Raiders. Texas Tech is coming off of a big victory over Texas on Wednesday night. Beard is known to have great defensive teams, and stopping Baylor will be a huge test for them, as the Bears have one of the most talented rosters in college basketball.

College Hoops – Michigan Wolverines @ Minnesota Golden Gophers

The 7th-ranked Wolverines are taking the college basketball world by storm! Juwan Howard has put together a team that could potentially make a Final Four run. The undefeated Wolverines will travel to one of the toughest places to play, “The Barn” at the University of Minnesota. Minnesota always seems to pull off a huge upset or two at their home court.

UFC Fight Night @ Fight Island

Max Holloway will take on Calvin Kattar in Abu Dhabi. These two featherweights will be fighting to move up the ranks within the division. A victory for Kattar would be a huge boost for him, and would potentially move him into a position to fight for the featherweight title. This should be a very explosive bout between two very good fighters.

NFL Divisional Round – Cleveland Browns @ Kansas City Chiefs

The Browns are the darlings of the NFL Playoffs. Not having made the playoffs since 2002, and now advancing to the Divisional Round. They’ll match up with the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. This one could see an offensive explosion for both teams.

NFL Divisional Round – Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints

These two divisional foes will face off for the third time this season. Tom Brady is on a quest to win his seventh Super Bowl. He has a great offense to work with, and the Bucs have one of the league’s top defenses. Drew Brees and the Saints have what it takes to get to the Super Bowl. This should be a fun one to watch!

NBA – Indiana Pacers @ Los Angeles Clippers

The Pacers look like one of the top teams in the East. They just made a trade to bolster their chances at making a long playoff run as they acquired Caris Levert, whom the Rockets had acquired in the James Harden deal. The Clippers are one of the top teams in the West, and they have a roster built to win the West.
