This weekend it’s all about racing. On Friday and Saturday, the U.S. thoroughbred industry puts on a show with their annual Breeders’ Cup World Thoroughbred Championships. A couple of huge matchups are on tap this Saturday. In the Premier League, Man United takes on Everton while in the Bundesliga, Dortmund battles top rival Bayern Munich. Is there anything Dortmund can do to hang with the best club team in the world? We’re going to find out!

UFC Fight Night: Santos vs Teixeira

21-7 Thiago Santos versus 31-7 Glover Teixeira headlines Saturday’s UFC Fight Night card. Also on the main card are battles between Andrei Arlovski versus Tanner Boss and Ronnie Barcelos against Khalid Taha.

Horse Racing: 2020 Breeders’ Cup

The Breeders’ Cup Championships happen on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, top two-year-olds go head-to-head in juvenile races. Saturday showcases the best horses on the planet. Two races to target are the Breeders’ Cup Distaff and the Breeders’ Cup Classic. In the Distaff, Preakness Stakes winning filly Swiss Skydiver takes on future hall of fame runner Monomoy Girl.

Authentic, the 2020 Kentucky Derby winner, faces rival Tiz the Law and top rated horses Maximum Security, Improbable, and Tom’s d’Etat in the Classic. Although only 10 horses will run in the Classic, it projects as one of the most competitive in history.

NCAAF Week 10

Clemson, without Heisman Trophy candidate Trevor Lawrence, faces their toughest test of the season so far when they take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Although the game happens at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Clemson is around a touchdown favorite.

Other top matchups include #23 Michigan at #13 Indiana, Arizona State at #20 USC, and the most important game after Clemson versus Notre Dame on Saturday, #8 Florida versus #5 Georgia.
Sunday, Nov. 8

Soccer

The English Premier League is hot on Sunday! Leicester City battles Wolverhampton while two of the best teams from any league hit the pitch when Man City takes on Liverpool. Over in Serie A, Lazio versus Juventus and Atalanta against Inter Milano highlight the Italian league’s match card.

NASCAR: Championship 4 – Season Finale 500 – Phoenix Raceway

NASCAR is down to their final four. Surprisingly, none of the four drivers who can win the 2020 NASCAR Monster Energy Cup are named Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, or Matrin Truex Jr. Check out the final four.

Denny Hamlin is the sole Joe Gibbs Racing driver with a shot. Hendirck Motorsports is back on top with Chase Elliot while Team Penske has a couple of chances to win the Cup in Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski. Logano can take his second NASCAR Cup in the past three years. 

NFL Week 9

No doubt, NFL Week 9’s most important and intriguing game happens on Sunday night when Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. The Bucs are 6-2 while the Saints are 5-2. Not only that but Antonio Brown begins his Buccaneers’ career on November 8.
Other top matchups are Seattle and Russell Wilson in Buffalo to take on Josh Allen and the Bills, and the Baltimore Ravens traveling to Indianapolis to battle the Colts. Miami Dolphins at Arizona Cardinals is another game to check out.
