Weekly Sports Recap & Update – November 3rd Edition

The first week of November has arrived. The sports world is busy as ever, and we are looking forward to the action taking place. Let’s look at the Top Sports Events for this Weekend:

Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

World Wide Technology Championship – All Weekend

The PGA event started on Thursday in Diamante Mexico. An $8.2M prize pool features some of the best on the PGA Tour. While the top championship level players may not be at this event, there are plenty of really good professionals golfing here. This should be a competitive event and be some great action to follow all weekend.

New York Knicks at Milwaukee Bucks

Friday November 3rd, 2023:
This game is part of the NBA In-Season Tournament. The Knicks are fun to follow when they can put everything together. Milwaukee is off to a slow start, especially for the hype bringing Damian Lillard over from Portland. But, the Bucks know the season is a marathon and not a sprint. Bucks fans are hoping they are saving it for the big games.

Kansas State Wildcats at Texas Longhorns

Saturday November 4th, 2023:
A massive game in the Big 12. The Kansas State WIldcats and Texas Longhorns are both squarely in the mix for the Big 12 title game. For the Longhorns, they are looking to crawl back into the picture for the College Football Playoff. Texas has just one loss on the season, and that was in the final seconds against Oklahoma. This should be a great game between two tough, physical football teams.

Missouri Tigers at Georgia Bulldogs

Saturday November 4th, 2023:
The Missouri Tigers have put together a really nice 2023 season. The Tigers lone loss was in the final minutes to LSU. Now, the Tigers have a chance to really make some noise. The Georgia Bulldogs have yet to be beat. No Brock Bowers for the Bulldogs, but their weapons make them who they are. There is a reason they are nearly a 16 point favorite against the 12th ranked team in the nation.

Washington Huskies at USC Trojans

Saturday November 4th, 2023:
The USC Trojans Pac-12 title game hopes are on the line here. The Trojans survived getting upset by California last week. It’s pretty simple for USC – they have to be able to defend, and they have to not turn the ball over. THe Trojans, who started quickly this season will face their toughest test yet. Michael Penix Jr and the Washington Huskies are one of the top offenses in all of College Football. Can the Trojans hang at home? Find out Saturday!

LSU Tigers at Alabama Crimson Tide

Saturday November 4th, 2023:
Two Top 15 teams in the country getting together. Brian Kelly and his LSU Tigers have two losses, but would love to get into the SEC title game and see what happens there. A win in this game would get them into a likely three way tie. The Tigers will need to bring their best game, as the Crimson Tide are playing good football, with six straight wins. Many are overlooking the Crimson Tide since the home loss to Texas, but this is a very dangerous team.

Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets

Saturday November 4th, 2023:
The Boston Celtics have started the season on fire. This team is going to be tough to slow down. They are big, strong, athletic and talented. Jayson Tatum has a chance to put up numbers that puts him square in the middle of the MVP discussion. This game in Brooklyn could mean it’s competitive, but in the end, one team is much better than the other.

Montreal Canadiens at St. Louis Blues

Saturday November 4th, 2023:
On ice, Jake Allen of Montreal will head to St. Louis to see his former team. Both teams struggle to score, so look for a fun defensive match between the Canaidens and Blues. It’s good to see some Saturday night hockey!

Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Sunday November 5th, 2023:
This game is the first of the morning on Sunday, and will be played in Germany. Two of the best offensive teams in all of the National Football League. The Chiefs are going to the postseason, there is hardly any doubt about that. They know how to get through a regular season, and that’s what is happening now. For Miami, all they can think about is stacking wins. Take the Dolphins to show this game means more. Miami wins in Germany.

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles

Sunday November 5th, 2023:
A NFC East battle. The Cowboys are coming off their dismantling of the Los Angeles Rams, so vibes are high in the Big D. For the Eagles, they continue to find ways to win. Even if Hurts is not great. Even if the run game cannot move the ball. Even if the defenses struggle, the Eagles always find a way to compete in the game. Look for the Eagles to be rude hosts in this one and quiet Dallas down a bit.

Golden State Warriors at Cleveland Cavaliers

Sunday November 5th, 2023:
While this is not a finals match of several seasons ago, these two teams still do not care for each other. There is no LeBron or Kevin Durant in this matchup like the good old days, but with Steph, Clay and Draymond going against Donovan Mitchell — there will be no lack of star power in this affair.

Los Angeles FC at Vancouver Whitecaps

Sunday November 5th, 2023:
Los Angeles leads the series 1-0. The Whitecaps need to get back on track, or they will be eliminated from the MLS Postseason. The last match went in favor of LAFC by a score of 5-2. Vancouver knows they are going to have to get more defensive if they want a chance to get back into this series.

Vegas Golden Knights at Anaheim Ducks

Sunday November 5th, 2023:
The final game on ice this weekend. The Anaheim Ducks have been a fun team to follow. Now, they get the defending Stanley Cup Champs. Can the Ducks hang in? We will find out, but this is a much better game than many expected when the schedules came out preseason.

Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals

Sunday November 5th, 2023:
This is the DeMar Hamlin rematch game that did not finish last season. This will be an emotional game, but in the end, it’s a pretty important game. Neither team can really afford a loss right now, as they both are chasing first place in their division. The Bengals have been playing better football as of late, including a massive win in San Francisco. The Bills make people shake their heads, but we all know what talent they have.

There it is. Those are the Top Sports Events for this Weekend. Enjoy the action and best of luck with all your betting for this weekend!
