Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

The RSM Classic

Thursday November 16 – Sunday November 19
Some of the top golfers will play a weekend tournament at Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia. Tee times started Thursday morning, and the action will take place all weekend. For those in cold weather, it’s nice to see some warm golf being played. Many of these guys are looking to kick start their 2024 season with a big weekend in November.

Houston Rockets at Los Angeles Clippers

Friday November 17th, 2023
In the NBA, the Los Angeles Clippers have not had fun since James Harden came over from Philadelphia. Things have not gone well in the win department. They will look to get on track Friday night in one of the in-season tournament games. This game will be held in Los Angeles, and a game that the Clippers need to win.

Florida Panthers at Anaheim Ducks

Friday November 17th, 2023
On ice, two teams that continue to build. The Panthers are further ahead in the building process, as they are second in the Atlantic Division, trailing only Anaheim. The Panthers have had some postseason success recently. The Ducks are dying for that.  Anaheim had been better than many projected, winning nine out of their first 16 games this season. The Ducks will look to be rude hosts in this one.

Utah Utes at Arizona Wildcats

Saturday November 18th, 2023
A big College Football game out of the Pac-12. Arizona finds themselves on the outside looking in, but still with a chance at playing in the conference championship game. This is an affair where both teams can turn on the defensive shoes. We expect this to be a low scoring, competitive football game.

Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks

Saturday November 18th, 2023
Really all that needs to be said here is Luka vs. the Greek Freak. Any questions?

Georgia Bulldogs at Tennessee Volunteers

Saturday November 18th, 2023
Another shot at a team wanting to pull a major upset. The Georgia Bulldogs have won back to back national titles, and are heading back to the SEC title game. Even a single loss and they likely still make the College Football Playoff. When will someone take them down? Will it be in Knoxville, where the Vols fans carry the goalposts into the river? We will find out Saturday night!

Washington Huskies at Oregon State Beavers

Saturday November 18th, 2023
A huge College Football game on Saturday night. This one is big for the College Football playoff, as the Huskies are right on the outside looking in. Oregon State has kind of gone unnoticed, but is a terrific team with plenty of talent. This is a major test for Washington, who seemingly has been playing playoff type games for the last month.

St. Louis Blues at Los Angeles Kings

Saturday November 18th, 2023
Back to the crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, where the Kings will take their shot at home against the Blues. St. Louis has played pretty strong hockey as of late winning three straight games. The Kings also have had a good start to their season, with an 8-3-3 mark. Look for a defensive battle, and a rough and physical affair in Los Angeles!

Las Vegas Grand Prix

Sunday November 19th, 2023, 12:00AM EST
The moment the city has been waiting for. F1 is back in the United States, and Las Vegas is ready to show off its city. The Las Vegas Grand Prix will take place late at night Saturday, or early in the morning Sunday, whichever you prefer it. This should be interesting to see how the city streets treat these fast moving cars. This 190 mile race, spanning 50 laps can be seen on ESPN.

UConn Huskies vs. Indiana Hoosiers

Sunday November 19th, 2023
Two College Basketball power house teams. The Indiana Hoosiers are looking to get back to the status of powerhouse after many years of frustrating play. For UConn, they are looking to defend their title this season. A fun early season College Basketball game will take place right in the middle of the day, and be played at Madison Square Garden.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns

Sunday November 19th, 2023
A massive AFC North matchup. Both teams are coming off huge wins last week. The Browns are without DeShaun Watson for the remainder of the season. They also lost Nick Chubb earlier in the season. Can the Steelers keep their magic going of being outplayed for much of a game and still winning? This has big divisional implications.

Buffalo Sabres at Chicago Blackhawks

Sunday November 19th, 2023
Two struggling teams will mix it up at the United Center. While they may be struggling, both teams look to have young talent that is improving. Any time you get a chance to see Connor Bedard play hockey, you do it. He will be on display here, against Tage Thompson, who continues to impress people all over the ice.

Houston Rockets at Los Angeles Lakers

Sunday November 19th, 2023
The Rockets remain in Los Angeles, and get a crack at the Lakers. The Rockets smoked the Lakers the last time, and Los Angeles was none too pleased. Dillon Brooks gets another shot at LeBron here. This time, we expect things to be different. The Lakers at home are in a good spot here.

Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos

Sunday November 19th, 2023
This game probably would have been canceled if it was a couple weeks ago. Now, we have two teams playing great football. The Vikings are beat up all over the field, but still finding ways to win. The Broncos had an epicly horrific start to the season, but are coming off the win over the Bills. The winner of this game is going to head into Thanksgiving Week in a major high. This should be a competitive game on Sunday Night Football!

Enjoy all the sports! Stay safe and have a great weekend!
