On the PGA Tour, the Travelers Championship will take center stage. Here’s a brief look at the top sporting events of the weekend.

Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

Top Sports Events for This Weekend – June 26 –  June 27

NBA Playoff Action

We’ll see Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns on Saturday. Los Angeles came back to win Game 3 after being down 2-0 in the series. The Clippers held Phoenix superstars Chris Paul and Devin Booker in check, and their offense came to life.

Game 4 will be a pivotal game in this series. The Clippers can’t afford to go down 3-1 heading back to Phoenix. It’s doubtful that Kawhi Leonard makes an appearance in Game 4, but if he did, it would be a huge emotional lift for the Clippers.

On Sunday, the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks will continue their series. Atlanta traveled to Milwaukee and stunned the Bucks in Game 1. Game 2 will be played on Friday night and will be huge for the Bucks. On Sunday, they’ll head south to Atlanta for Game 3. We’ll see if the Bucks can even the series on Friday or if the Hawks will be looking to take a 3-0 lead come Sunday.

PGA Tour

On the PGA Tour, we’ve arrived at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, for the Travelers Championship. The tournament field is headlined by Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, Matthew Wolff, and Sergio Garcia. This course is built for long strikers, so with the big names in the field all being long hitters, this should be a fun one.

NASCAR

It will be a busy weekend for the NASCAR Cup Series racers, as the drivers will have a two-race weekend! The races will take place at Pocono, as on Saturday, the drivers will participate in the Pocono Organics CBD 325 Cup Series. On Sunday, we’ll see the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350. This is a rare doubleheader for the Cup Series. All in all, Pocono will host five races over the weekend between the Truck, Xfinity, and Cup Series.

Kyle Larson is on a roll and is a favorite to claim both races this weekend! Larson has won three straight Cup Series races. We’ll see if he can win number four and number five this weekend at Pocono!

MLB

One of the best rivalries in baseball will take place this weekend, as the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox renew their long-standing rivalry! Surprisingly enough, it’s the Boston Red Sox that are sitting near the top of the American League East rather than the Yankees. Boston has been a surprise team this season, exceeding expectations. The Yankees have been somewhat of a disappointment, as they’re currently in 3rd place in the division. We’ll see if the Yankees can gain some ground on the BoSox this weekend. There’s always plenty of excitement when these two teams get together.
