The third event of the season. This one is in California, and has a few new characters on the tour that will partake. This should be another fun event, and hopefully the weather in California behaves for them to get 72 holes in.
Indiana Hoosiers at Wisconsin Badgers
Friday January 19th, 2024
The Big Ten is wild with the Badgers leading, but Purdue, Illinois and Northwestern sitting with just a second loss behind them. The Badgers are going to look to get back from the loss they took to Penn State earlier this week. For Indiana, their loss to Purdue was a bad one, and they will also look to rebound.
New York Islanders at Chicago Blackhawks
Friday January 19th, 2024
Two of the top markets in the country. Neither has been great this season. The Islanders are right in the mix in the East for one of the final playoff spots. The Blackhawks are near the bottom of the standings in the Western Conference. Should be an interesting night at the Madhouse on Madison.
Phoenix Suns at New Orleans Pelicans

A pair of Western Conference teams. Both teams have started to play better basketball as of late. The Suns have won three straight games. For New Orleans, they are coming off a blowout win over Charlotte. It will be interesting when these two get together, as both teams sport a ton of talent.
Iowa State Cyclones at TCU Horned Frogs

The Big 12 is up for grabs. It is a fight each game within the conference. The Cyclones are coming off a loss, and will look to bounce back here. TCU also lost; in overtime at Cincinnati. Motivation for both teams will be at an all time high here. Look for a fun one on Saturday in Big 12 play.
Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens

The first of four NFL playoff games over the weekend. CJ Stroud taking on Lamar Jackson. The Texans have been the flavor of the week, and will have plenty of fans as they take on the top seed in the AFC. Can Stroud and Texans hang in there with the Ravens, who were the best team during the regular season?
Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers

Very similar to the game between Houston and Baltimore. We have an upstart team with a first year quarterback going on the road to take on the top seed. The 49ers hope they do not come across any rust in this game as they took last week off. This is the Saturday night game, and we are hoping for some fireworks between Jordan Love and the 49ers.
Toronto Raptors at New York Knicks

The Raptors roster is starting to look different. These two teams are familiar with roster changes, as they just sealed the deal on a trade. RJ Barrett back at the Garden. It will be interesting to see how he and the young Toronto roster responds on the big stage.
New York Rangers at Los Angeles Kings

Anytime New York takes on Los Angeles, you have a good game. The Rangers and Kings will meet up late at night on Saturday. The Kings have been fighting through it, but if they can get their offensive woes figured out, they are still going to be a tough team to take down. This should be a fun game

MMA from Toronto. The PPV year kicks off north of the border. This is the first PPV event held in Canada in five years. Sean Strickland vs. Dricus du Plessis headlines the card here. This should be a fun event, and nice to get back in MMA mode.
Memphis Tigers at Tulane Green Wave

A relatively slow down of College Basketball, but this should be a good one. The Tigers are 10th in the country with their 10-2 record. They will take on a Green Wave team that sits at 11-6, but need a big win in a bad way. Look for the crowd in New Orleans to be quite ready for the Tigers when they get to town for this Sunday affair.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions

The first NBA Playoff game on Sunday. Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers are underdogs against Jared Goff and the Lions. The Lions are deadly at home, so we will see if Tampa Bay can keep pace with them in this huge game. The winner heads to the NFC title game.
Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills

A rivalry over the years finally gets a chance to be played in Buffalo. The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl Champions, but will have to win on the road to get back this season. We will see if Patrick Mahomes can win in the postseason on the road. Buffalo is one of the hottest teams in the league right now.
Portland Trail Blazers at Los Angeles Lakers

Western Conference affair in the NBA. Anthony Davis and LeBron James teaming up for some Sunday Night hoops gives fans something to tune into if football is not their thing. Portland is going to have a tough time keeping up in this one.
Tampa Bay Lightning at Detroit Red Wings

Two rivals from the Eastern Conference get together for a battle Sunday. Tampa Bay is battling, as they are 5th in the Atlantic. They are going to have to battle to get back to the postseason. For Detroit, they are playing better hockey as of late with 7 wins in their last 10 games and three in a row. Look for some fun hockey in Detroit.
