New Orleans Pelicans at Denver Nuggets

A pair of Western Conference teams getting together. The Pelicans are looking to continue to make their move in the West as one of the teams to respect come playoffs time. The Nuggets are the defending Western Conference Champs. Anytime you can get Zion Williamson and Nikola Jokic in the same game, you are in for some fun!
Philadelphia Flyers at Minnesota Wild

On ice, the Philadelphia Flyers are full of drama. But, right now, the team is trying to keep their spot as a playoff team in the Eastern Conference. The Flyers are third in the Metro and sixth in the East. They will take on a Minnesota team that is near the bottom of the league in points. But, playing in Minnesota is never an easy task, so be careful in this one.
Oklahoma Sooners at Kansas Jayhawks

Two teams that were in the Top 10 as of Wednesday, both lost on the road. The Kansas Jayhawks went to Orlando and lost to Central Florida. The Oklahoma Sooners lost to TCU. This is going to be a wild Big 12 season. Look for Kansas to bounce back at home and send the Sooners to back to back losses.
Miami Dolphins at Kansas City Chiefs

Playoff action in the National Football League. The league has made an unpopular choice of putting this game on Peacock, so many will not get the chance to see it. This is a rematch of the November game in Germany. Tyreek Hill against his former team should be fun. This is also the start of the Kansas City Chiefs march to win back to back titles.
Los Angeles Lakers at Utah Jazz

LeBron James and Anthony Davis go on the road and take on a Utah team that is doing their best to stick around. The Jazz start the weekend just ½ game behind the Lakers and Jazz for a final play-in spot in the Western Conference. Utah won their third straight by beating the Nuggets on Wednesday. Can the Jazz stay home taking on the in-season tournament champions?
Calgary Flames at Vegas Golden Knights

Calgary has played better as of late with 6 wins in their last 10 games. The Flames have not been real good on the road. That’s a tough task against a Vegas team that sits with 14 wins at home; the second most in the Western Conference. Vegas has played poor as of late, but that’s due to change. A Saturday night tilt against the Flames may be just the ticket.
Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys

The middle game of a triple header of NFL action on Sunday. The Packers and the Cowboys. Dallas is a juggernaut at home. The Packers are fortunate to be in the postseason. Betting experts do not expect this to be a great game. We will see if Jordan Love has anything to say about that from the Big D.
Maryland Terrapins at Illinois Fighting Illini

The name of the game in College Basketball is parity. That can be said for the Big Ten for sure. Wisconsin leads the league, but Illinois is right in the mix. Maryland has struggled, and will likely continue that struggle in Champaign. Illinois is still trying to figure out life without their top scorer Terrence Shannon.
Indiana Pacers at Denver Nuggets

The top scoring team in the league taking on the defending NBA Champions. Sign us up for that one. The bad news for the Pacers is the injury to Tyrese Hailburton. The guy has broken out into an outstanding season. He will be missed in the games he cannot play. The Nuggets have coasted through the season, but are set to start taking off as the second half arrives.
Detroit Red Wings at Toronto Maple Leafs

This is a fun rivalry between two teams that have been in the league a long time. In the 2024 version of it, we have a Maple Leafs team that’s tied for fourth most points in the East, against a Detroit team doing all they can to stay in the race. The game is north of the border, and Toronto is playing solid hockey right now. The Maple Leafs should win this game!
