The month of March is one of the most underrated months when it comes to the sports schedule, and this is the best weekend of them all. There will be some great bets to make throughout the weekend, and not all of them are going to come on college basketball.

When looking at the sports calendar, you should also be looking for the best betting options that are going to be available. Here is a look at the top sports events for this weekend, and some of the best ways to wager on the action.

Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

NCAA Tournament Action

The 2024 Men’s NCAA Tournament is set to begin this weekend, and this is one of the biggest sporting events in the world. There will be 16 games on both Friday and Saturday, and another 16 spread out over the weekend.

This event has been called “March Madness” due to the unpredictable nature of how the bracket unfolds, and it’s going to be another exciting season. Not only will there be some great betting options to check out for each game, but future betting options are available as well.

Women’s NCAA Tournament

While the men’s NCAA Tournament tends to get most of the attention during the month of March, there is another event that can generate just as much excitement. The 2024 women’s NCAA Tournament is taking place as well, and this could be the best version of this event ever.

Caitlin Clark is one of the best women’s basketball players ever, and she will have her Iowa Hawkeyes team in contention to win a national championship. That’s not the only big story though as the South Carolina Gamecocks are coming into this tournament with a perfect record.

There are some great betting opportunities in this event as well, and it would be wise to check out these odds while also looking at the options on the men’s side of things.

UFC Fight Night

Dana White and the UFC continue to do a great job of creating some big events each weekend, and that will be the case again. Another Fight Night will be taking place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, and there are some big fights scheduled to take place.

While a championship belt won’t be handed out this weekend, there are still going to be some great bouts on the schedule. Be sure to check out all of the fights on the main and preliminary card as you will see some terrific betting options available.

Valspar Championship

The PGA Tour action is really starting to heat up, and that will all culminate with the Masters next month. Last weekend was The Players Championship, and it was Scottie Scheffler that came away with a big win in that event.

Scheffler is not going to be teeing it up at the Valspar Championship, and that will give other golfers a chance to cash in. Xander Schauffele is going to be one of the players that can pick up a win without Schauffele and he is the betting favorite at +800.
