From marquee NBA matchups and massive college basketball games to UFC 325, the conclusion of the Australian Open, PGA Tour action, and even the NFC vs AFC Pro Bowl Flag Football Game, there’s no shortage of betting opportunities from this weekend until Tuesday, January 3. The NFL caps off Pro Bowl week with the NFC and AFC facing off in the league’s flag football showcase. Expect plenty of highlights, trick plays, and player props to take center stage once odds arrive. Rookie enthusiasm could mean something. So Shedeur Sanders, a late addition to the game, might put on a show.

The best team in the East heads to The City hoping to put the clamps on Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and the Warriors. Led by Cade Cunningham, the Pistons are on fire this season and have a shot of running the old Warriors off their own court with a cover and straight up loss.

San Antonio Spurs at Charlotte Hornets

Victor Wembanyama takes the Spur to Charlotte where his team should be a major favorite. The Hornets don’t match up well with an SA team looking to make a deep NBA Playoff run. Wemby and the Spurs might be the best bet of the weekend.

Dallas Mavericks at Houston Rockets

Cooper Flagg versus Kevin Durant is must watch NBA action. KD will look to teach the kid a thing a or two while Flagg, who will skip Wednesday’s matchup versus Ant Edwards and the T’Wolves but has a shot of playing in this game, will try to build upon his 18.8 points per.

Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics

Giannis could be headed to a new franchise by the time they kick this one off. Brad Stevens, who runs the Boston Celtics, has the C’s near the top of the Eastern Conference mountain even though Jayson Tatum won’t return until 2026. Boston wins and covers no problem.

Los Angeles Lakers at New York Knicks

Lakers at Knicks is always a fun matchup. NYK has a slight edge because this one happens in the Garden but Luka and LeBron have led the Lakers to a 4-2 straight up record in their last 6.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Denver Nuggets

How deep are the Nuggets? Jokic out. Gordon out. Braun out. Valanciunas and Murray day-to-day and Denver is 6-4 straight up in their last 10. OKC should dominate but with all the injuries, the Nuggets project as a nice overlay to cover.

4 Duke Blue Devils at Virginia Tech Hokies

VA Tech has pulled off big time upsets on their court in the past. This is no give me game for the Devils. No game on the road in the ACC is a give me game.

Cincinnati Bearcats at 10 Houston Cougars

Houston lost to to rival Texas Tech last week. The Cougs shouldn’t have an issue covering versus the Bearcats at home on Saturday, though.

1 Arizona Wildcats at Arizona State Sun Devils

The top team in the nation won’t take their biggest rivals lightly. Expect the Cats to roll in Tempe behind the top rebounding squad in college hoops. This is a rivalry matchup with the Wildcats are a special bunch.

13 BYU Cougars at 14 Kansas Jayhawks

It’s time for Kansas to be Kansas. Rock Chalk must contend with a surprisingly good BYU team that lost by just 3 points to Arizona in a game that could have gone either way late last week.

Saint Mary’s Gaels at 6 Gonzaga Bulldogs

Saint Mary’s versus Gonzaga is the best rivalry in the West Coast Conference. The Zags are the much better team this season but we all know that when it comes to rivalry games, the dog often steps up their play.

Is this the day the Nebraska Cornhuskers fall? No team has surprised as much this season, not even Arizona which is a blue blood program, as the Huskers. Undefeated Nebraska hopes to shut up any doubters with a win over a Big Ten rival ranked in the Top 10.

15 Tennessee Lady Volunteers at 1 UConn Huskies

A classic matchup that should go the Huskies way. Be careful about laying too many points, though, because Tennessee has some talent.

24 Alabama Crimson Tide at 6 LSU Tigers

The biggest rivalry in the SEC happens in women’s college hoops on Sunday when Bama heads to Baton Rouge to take on LSU. The Tigers ranking makes them the team to beat. The Tide will step up their game, though. Bama always does when facing LSU.

9 Michigan Wolverines at 13 Michigan State Spartans

Another rivalry game on the NCAAW schedule this weekend between top 15 ranked teams. The Wolverines face off Sparty on State’s court. This game could go either way and might be the best game to bet on the Women’s College Basketball schedule.
