Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

Top Sports Events for This Weekend – November 5 – November 6

The Fall Classic

Heading back to Houston for the weekend, either the Philadelphia Phillies or the Houston Astros will hold a 3-2 series lead. At the time of this writing, Game 5 in Philadelphia was still in progress.

The Houston pitching staff has been very good, while the Philadelphia bats have sparked the Phillies. Could we see a Game 7?

Top College Football Games of the Week

The “Game of the Year” will be played in Athens, Georgia, this Saturday, as the University of Tennessee will take on the Georgia Bulldogs. The winner of this one will more than likely clinch a spot in the SEC title game and will have a great shot at a playoff berth.

Tennessee has one of the best football offenses in the league, while Georgia has a great defense. This should be one of the best games of the season.

Another game to watch will be Clemson at Notre Dame. The Irish haven’t had a great season, but this could be their time to shine. The Clemson Tigers are undefeated and are looking to run the table to try to solidify a playoff berth. We’ll see if Notre Dame has what it takes to upset the Tigers.

We get to see another Nick Saban vs. Brian Kelly matchup. This time, Kelly is at a different place, as his LSU Tigers will host Alabama in a night game in Death Valley.

Playing at LSU at night is a very tough thing to do, so we’ll see how the Crimson Tide handles the hostile environment. Alabama knows that it can’t afford another loss if they want to get into the playoffs.

Big Games in the NFL

The Buffalo Bills will head to New Jersey to take on the New York Jets. It’s hard to believe that the Jets have a 5-3 record and are fighting for a playoff spot.

The Buffalo Bills are thought to be the best team in the NFL. The Jets have a very good defense, so this should be a good matchup.

The Tennessee Titans have exceeded expectations this season. They’ll bring the power running game of Derrick Henry to Kansas City this weekend to take on the Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes will have his hands full with a very stout Tennessee defense. Mike Vrabel has quietly become one of the top football coaches in the league, and we’ll see what he has in store for the high-powered Chiefs offense.

The Race for the Title

The NASCAR Cup Series will crown its 2022 champion in Phoenix on Sunday. Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, Chase Elliott, or Joey Logan will win the title this year.

The race will be a 312-mile trip around the oval in Phoenix. We’ll see who has what it takes to be the champ!
