Weekly Sports Recap & Update – May 26th Edition

We are starting to get close to the time of year in which there aren’t many major sporting events, but we aren’t at that point yet. The NBA and NHL Playoffs are still taking place, and those two sports will provide plenty of drama and excitement.

There is also a huge race this weekend, and MLB baseball is still taking place as well. With that in mind, here are three of the top sporting events for this weekend.

Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat ML

The NBA Eastern Conference Finals looked as if it was going to be a sweep as the Miami Heat rolled out to a 3-0 series lead. After failing to get the job done at home in Game 4, the Heat then went to Boston and suffered another defeat to the Boston Celtics.

Boston now has put the pressure on the Heat as the series will shift back to Miami for Game 6 on Saturday night. The Celtics are the slim betting favorites in this matchup, but that has been the case for most games in this series.

Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat typically thrive when their backs are against the wall a bit, and that will be the case in this game. Boston will be trying to push the series to a Game 7, but they just won’t be able to get it done on the road.

Take the Heat moneyline as they come away with a win in this game.

Dallas Stars vs. Vegas Golden Knights -135

The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs have not been very competitive over the last few weeks, but the Dallas Stars are trying to change that. After picking up a win in Game 4, Dallas will now head to Las Vegas in hopes of beating the Golden Knights and extending the series for another game.

Vegas has been one of the best teams in the postseason this year, and they know that they can’t afford to give a game away on their home ice. The Golden Knights are solid on both ends of the ice, and they will control this game from the beginning.

Dallas will try to keep this game close, but they just won’t be able to get things done. Bet the Vegas Golden Knights -135 as they win to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Indianapolis 500

The Indianapolis 500 is known as the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing,” and it is set to take place on Sunday. The best IndyCar Series drivers in the world will once again be taking to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and another massive crowd is expected.

Betting on the Indianapolis 500 is always extremely popular, and that should be the case again this season. There are going to be some great betting options to explore, and picking the winner can come with a nice payout.

Alex Palou has become the betting favorite in this event at +550 after he won the pole position through qualifying. There are going to be some other drivers that are pushing hard to win this weekend, but betting on Palou +550 is the best way to go in this big race.
