NBA

The conference semifinals are in full swing in the NBA. On Saturday, we’ll see the Utah Jazz head to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers in Game 3 of their series. On Sunday, the Bucks and the Bucks will clash in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference series. The Bucks survived an onslaught from Kevin Durant to take Game 3. The Nets are now up 2-1 going into Sunday’s contest. We’ll see another game four on Sunday as well, as the Phoenix Suns will be in Denver to take on the Nuggets. At the time of this writing, the Suns are up 2-0, but these two will meet in Game 3 on Friday night. If the Suns win on Friday, they’ll be looking to close the series out on Sunday and advance to the Western Conference Finals.

NHL

In the Stanley Cup playoffs, we could potentially see a Game 7 on Saturday night. If the Colorado Avalanche defeat the Las Vegas Golden Knights in Game 6 of their series, we’ll see a Game 7 between two of the top teams in the National Hockey League. These two teams can light up the lamps and have played some very exciting hockey thus far in their series.

NASCAR

It’ll be a busy weekend in the NASCAR World, as the Texas Motor Speedway hosts a weekend full of NASCAR events. On Saturday, the Xfinity Series will be front and center, as the Alsco Uniforms 250 will be the event of the day. On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series will be holding their All-Star event. The top drivers in the sport will be taking part in the annual NASCAR All-Star Race under the bright Texas stars.

PGA

The PGA Tour will be making a stop in South Carolina for the Palmetto Championship at Congaree. This event isn’t loaded with a lot of big names, but there are still some really good players in this event. The field is highlighted by Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, Sungjae Im, Tommy Fleetwood, and Tyrrell Hatton.

MLB

Major League Baseball will have a weekend full of great action. We’ll see a great pitching matchup in San Diego, as Jacob deGrom will take the mound against another former Cy Young Award winner in Blake Snell. We’ll also see one of the game’s biggest rivalries take place, as the St. Louis Cardinals will meet the Chicago Cubs in the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. These two teams are fighting for the National League Central Division crown, so every game between the two will be very important.

It should be a great weekend in the sports world. With all of this great action going on, how can a sports fan not be glued to their television set?
