Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

Top Sports Events for This Weekend – January 29 – January 30

NFL Playoffs

After 18 grueling weeks of the regular season and two weeks of playoff games, we’ve finally come to the Conference Championship games.

In the NFC, we’ll see two NFC West teams collide, as the Los Angeles Rams will host the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners have won the last six matchups between these two, including a Week 18 matchup that got the Niners into the playoffs.

We’ll see if Matthew Stafford can lead the Rams to a Super Bowl in their home stadium or if the running game and defense of the 49ers can lead them to a conference title.

In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs are once again in the Conference Title game. They’ll be hosting the Cinderella Cincinnati Bengals.

Joe Burrow has been on fire as of late, and he’ll lead the high-powered Bengals offense against a suspect Kansas City defense. Patrick Mahomes and arguably the league’s best offense will be ready for Cincinnati. Look for big things from Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill in this one.

College Basketball

Even though we’re in the midst of the conference season, two teams will take a break from the conference grind. Two of the premier programs in the country will meet on Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas, as the No. 5 Kansas Jayhawks will host the No. 12 Kentucky Wildcats.

Kentucky had been on a hot streak until they were beaten by the No. 1 Auburn Tigers last Saturday. Kansas won a double-overtime battle with Texas Tech earlier this week. This will be a great game between two blue-blood programs.

Two Big 10 teams will collide on Sunday, as the 16th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the No. 6 Purdue Boilermakers. Many experts think that Purdue has what it takes to make a Final Four.

With 7’4″ Zach Edey leading the way, the Boilermakers have one of the top teams in the country. Chris Holtmann is one of the best coaches in the land, and he’ll have his Buckeyes ready for the challenge.

NBA Action

With the All-Star Break approaching, the NBA playoff races are starting to heat up. On Saturday night, two teams with a great shot at winning the NBA title will square off, as the Brooklyn Nets will travel across the country to take on the Golden State Warriors.

Unfortunately, we won’t get to see both teams at full strength. Kevin Durant has been out with an injury, as has Draymond Green for the Warriors. We’ll still get to see Steph Curry and James Harden, as these two are two of the best shooters in the game.
