Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

Top Sports Events for This Weekend – February 19 – February 20

NBA All-Star Weekend

It’s that time of the year! NBA All-Star Weekend is the most highly anticipated All-Star game of the major sports. On Friday night, we’ll see the Celebrity All-Star game, along with the Rising Stars Challenge.

All-Star Saturday Night is always a fun evening. Many celebrities, athletes, and popular people will be flocking to Cleveland to watch the events.

We’ll kick the night off with the Taco Bells Skills Challenge. That will be followed by the Mountain Dew 3-Point Contest, and then the AT&T Slam Dunk Contest will cap off the evening.

On Sunday night, we’ll see Team LeBron face off against Team Durant in the 2022 NBA All-Star Game. As always, there will be a lot of offensive firepower in this one.

The end could be exciting, as the NBA will once again be using the Elam Ending to determine the winner. While most of the game is very laid back, we could see the competitiveness ramped up at the end.

College Hoops

(16) Tennessee Volunteers @ (23) Arkansas Razorbacks

The Tennessee Volunteers are coming off of a huge victory over Kentucky. However, they’re heading into one of the most raucous arenas in the country.

Arkansas is 14-2 at Bud Walton Arena this season, and they own a victory over Auburn at home. Even though Tennessee has won five in a row, we think Eric Musselman’s squad will be ready.

(25) Alabama Crimson Tide @ (4) Kentucky Wildcats

Coming off of a big loss, Kentucky will be ready for this one. Kentucky was embarrassed by Tennessee earlier this week, and they’ll be looking to get back on the winning track.

Even though Alabama has won five straight, they’ll be in for a tough one at Rupp Arena, where Kentucky is 15-0 this season. Alabama lives and dies by the three-pointer, so we’ll see how that works on Saturday.

(12) Illinois Fighting Illini @ (19) Michigan State Spartans

Both teams are coming off of a bad loss. Michigan State lost at Penn State, while Illinois lost at Rutgers.

Michigan State is 10-2 at the Breslin Center, while Illinois is 5-4 away from the State Farm Center in Champaign. Both teams desperately need a victory in this one.

(11) Texas Tech Red Raiders @ (20) Texas Longhorns

The first time these two teams met this season, there were a lot of fireworks. Chris Beard, who left Texas Tech for Texas, came back to Lubbock, and a whole arena full of rowdy fans let him and his Longhorns hear about it. Texas Tech came out of that one with a huge victory.

Beard and his Longhorns will be looking for sweet revenge. They didn’t like the way things went down when they visited Lubbock.
