Top Sports Events for This Weekend – November 26 – November 27

NFL Action

  • Cincinnati Bengals @ Tennessee Titans

These two teams look like they’ll be making a run at a playoff spot in the AFC. Tennessee just keeps finding ways to win. Derrick Henry is one of the top runners in the game, and he will get his fair share of the load on Sunday. As for the Bengals, the return of Ja’Marr Chase will be huge for the Bengals offense. This should be a fun one to watch.

  • Green Bay Packers @ Philadelphia Eagles

While we know that the Packers are having a rough season, and Aaron Rodgers isn’t playing well, the Packers seem to play well against some of the better teams. The one-loss Eagles know that the Dallas Cowboys are on their heels, so every game is huge for them, as they want to win the NFC East. We’ll see which Aaron Rodgers shows up on Sunday.

Rivalry Weekend in College Football

  • Michigan Wolverines @ Ohio State

This could be the most important game of the regular season in College Football. The winner of this one earns a spot in the Big 10 title game, and also solidifies its chances of earning a playoff berth. The loser will have to wait on the results of all of the conference title games to see if they still have a shot at making the playoffs.

  • Notre Dame @ USC

The USC Trojans have a spot in the Pac-12 title game, but this game is also very important to their season. With a loss, the Trojans won’t have a shot at a College Football Playoff berth. With this one being against one of their biggest rivals, USC knows what a victory over Notre Dame means. For the Irish, they want to continue on their hot streak after a rough start to the season.

  • The Iron Bowl

While there isn’t a lot riding on this one, this is one of the most fierce rivalries in college football. When Auburn and Alabama meet, records go out the window, and you know you’re in for a rough game. Alabama still has a slim chance at a playoff berth, while Auburn is most focused on its search for a new head coach.

College Hoops

  • Phil Knight Invitational

Some of the nation’s top teams will converge on Portland, Oregon, this weekend, as Nike-sponsored schools will participate in the Phil Knight Invitational. Michigan State, West Virginia, Purdue, Gonzaga, Duke, Florida, Oregon State, Iowa State, UConn, North Carolina, Oregon, and Alabama highlight the field. We could see some great matchups in the semifinals and finals.
