Super Bowl Game Rapidly Approaching

Many viewers that tune in to the broadcast of the Super Bowl aren’t there for the game, they’re there for the entertainment. They want to see the National Anthem, the Halftime Show, and what new and creative commercials the advertisement agencies have come up with.

While we’re talking about entertainment, let’s talk about prop bets. The Super Bowl brings in millions of dollars worth of wagers each year, with much of that money being on prop bets. Many of these prop bets involve the pre-game entertainment, the halftime show, commercials, and other things that don’t necessarily involve action from the game itself.

One prop bet that’s garnering a lot of attention is the length of the National Anthem. For only the second time in the history of the Super Bowl, the Star Spangled Banner will be done in duet style with Eric Church teaming with Jazmine Sullivan. The over/under time that has been set is 1:59. The under 1:59 is currently at a -145. There have also been odds set on whether or not either of the singers will make a mistake during the song. If you think they will, you can get that at a +1200.

The halftime show always has some prop bets associated with it. This year’s performer, The Weeknd will put on a great show. The odds have been set at -200 for him to perform over eight songs. One of the most odd halftime prop bets is whether or not the Weeknd will be wearing sunglasses during the halftime show. If you think that he will be wearing them, you can get that at -140. If you don’t think he’ll be wearing shades during the show, you can take the underdog at +100.

As for the commercials, Anheuser- Busch commercials have been a mainstay of the Super Bowl. You can place a wager on which Anheuser-Busch product brand will be featured in the company’s first commercial. You can choose Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade, or Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer.

Much has been made this week of the fact that Patrick Mahomes was a kindergarten student when Tom Brady won his first Super Bowl. If you’re really into the crazy prop bets you can place a wager on whether or not the word “kindergarten” is mentioned during the Super Bowl. The over/under number has been set at 0.5. If you take the under, you get it at -900, if you go with the over, you can have it at +500.

And finally, for the post game entertainment, you can place a bet on what color of Gatorade will be dumped on the head of the winning coach. This is one of the more popular prop bets for the Super Bowl. Orange, Blue, or Red are the most popular choices.
