Betting Action: Weekly Sports Recap & Updates

Top Sports Events for This Weekend – December 3 – December 4

College Football

It’s conference championship weekend! The Pac-12, Big 12, Big 10, and SEC Championship games all have College Football Playoff implications. If USC, TCU, Michigan, or Georgia were to lose, then the College Football Playoff committee would have a lot of hard decisions to make.

The two best games of the weekend will be USC vs. Utah, and TCU vs. Kansas State. Utah beat USC to give the Trojans their only loss of the season. Kansas State had a big lead over TCU, but the Horned Frogs came storming back to win by 10.

Michigan, TCU, and Georgia are the three lone undefeated teams left in Division One this season. We’ll see if all three of them can continue to keep their record unblemished and claim a spot in the College Football Playoffs.

NFL Action

We have some great games on tap for Week 13 of the NFL season. First up is a matchup between the Tennessee Titans and the Philadelphia Eagles. Derrick Henry is one of the best running backs in the league, and he’ll give the Philadelphia defense fits. The Eagles have only lost one game on the season, and they want to keep on winning.

The red-hot Washington Commanders will take on their NFC East foe New York Giants. Washington is just outside of the playoff bubble, and a win over the Giants would help get them closer to a playoff berth.

The Miami Dolphins will travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers in a possible Super Bowl matchup. The Dolphins have one of the best offenses in the league, while the San Francisco defense is also very good. Mike McDaniel would love to return to his old stomping grounds to claim a victory over the Niners.

PGA Tour

The PGA Tour is heading to an island paradise, as the Hero World Challenge will be played in the Bahamas. Some of the biggest names in golf will be playing this weekend. Viktor Hovland, Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Tony Finau, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, and Jordan Spieth highlight this loaded field. This should be a fun event to watch.

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

How can we forget the World Cup? The Knockout round starts this weekend, and all of the teams know that a loss will end their hopes of hoisting the Cup. The United States advanced to the Knockout round by virtue of a 1-0 win over Iran on Tuesday. The US will now take on the Netherlands on Saturday. On Sunday, arguably the best team in the world, the French National team, will take on Poland.
